Road trip Wednesday — The best October has to offer

Today’s question is: What is the best book you read this month?

Well, that’s an easy one. I finally got around to reading a book I’ve heard good buzz about for OVER A YEAR. I’m slow sometimes.

If I Stay. This book broke my heart. Repeatedly. It was just gorgeous, one of those that proved impossible to put down. So no surprise that I devoured it in under a day. You know those books that make you think “Damn, I wish I’d written that?” Yeah, this is one of them. So.Good.

BONUS (again): Susan is still running her week-long contest! Go enter today for a chance to win a classic like I Capture the Castle, which is all kinds of awesome, and if you haven’t read it yet you should.

I read this a while back — very quiet and lovely. I imagine the film will be the same.
