This week’s question is: What does your character hide in their underwear drawer – or other secret location?
My story takes place in medieval England, so obviously there were no underwear drawers, but here are a few things I think they’d keep hidden away.
Devon:
She keeps the green stone hidden away, naturally. It’s sort of the lynchpin of my story (which is called “Four Stones”), so no big surprise there!
William:
William was born into a life of privilege, which consequently meant he was shipped off at a young age to be educated. He’s never had a real sense of family, though he wants to, so I imagine he keeps the few letters sent to him by his father stashed away in a safe place.
Du Fonte:
Ah, du Fonte, the scheming castle steward who is always up to something. I suspect he has the Bellecote seal stashed away for his own personal use.
Bellecote:
Our very own power-hungry earl. No doubt he has a sceptre hidden away, a reminder that if he can still scheme, cheat and steal his way to an even higher rank.
