I’m stylin’!

So here’s the deal—I’m supposed to share seven things about myself, then pass the award on to ten other lovelies. But I just shared seven things about myself not so long ago, and I’ve never been much for following rules in that regard, so instead I’m going to share seven pictures that mean a lot to me. Blogger makes images teensy-tiny, but if you really want to, you can click on the pictures for a full-size version.

1. This picture was taken in Napa, on the first trip my now-husband/then-boyfriend took together. This is outside of Peju, our favorite winery of the trip. So favorite that when we got a dog a few years later, we named him after the winery.

2. So totally not the normal wedding picture you’d have hanging on the wall, but this is one of my favorite shots of the night. It’s me showing my shoes to my oldest friend in the world and her mom, who’s kinda like my second mom. The moment is just so … us.

3. On the Big Island of Hawaii. I promise I’m not as close to the edge as it looks in the picture.

4. We went to Hawaii for our honeymoon (if you didn’t already figure that out). One day my husband and I decided to go hiking in Waimea Canyon, picked and random trail and followed it for 4 miles or so. It ended here. Best.Hike.Ever.

5. This was Peju when he was a puppy. This picture never fails to bring a smile to my face. In the immortal words of my friend Jenni, “This picture makes my ovaries hurt, and as far as I know, they can’t even make puppies.”

6. A pair of sky box tickets for the 2008 national championship game fell into our lap thanks to a truly amazing and generous friend, so my husband and I got the watch the Gators stomp Oklahoma in style. Seriously one of the best nights of my life.

7. My daughter when she was like 3 weeks old. Throwin’ up the peace sign. Another picture that never fails to make me smile.
